Question: What should I expect in Recorder’s court?
Answer: Recorder’s Court in Savannah is, for most people, the first court appearance that they have. And, it’s a good chance to try to gather as much information as you can about the case, and also to see, if it’s something minor, if it can be worked out before it goes too far. Oftentimes, if I get the case early enough, I can go into Recorder’s Court and help try to minimize it or get rid of it before it ever even gets off the ground.
